The museum focuses on innovation and technology, as well as Great Lakes education and conservation. It contains interactive exhibits, the Reiman Aquarium, and two theaters, and is home to Wisconsin's official flagship, the Denis Sullivan, a fully functional sailing vessel modeled after a 19th-century Great Lakes schooner.
The Art Museum is a Milwaukee must see! Its collection contains nearly 25,000 works of art, and is one of the largest museums in the United States. It is located right on the lake, we recommend walking into the atrium and spending some time outside along the lake.
The public market is located downtown and has many different vendors. It is perfect for a quick lunch! Nick's favorite Vendor is St. Paul's Fish Market - get the Lobster Roll!
If you are going to go to any Milwaukee brewery, you HAVE to go to Lake front! We highly recommend doing a tour of Lakefront Brewery. It is the most fun brewery tour, and is a must see! Plan to book your tickets for a tour ahead of time, as they tend to sell out on the weekends. It is one of Kelsey and Nick's favorite things to do in Milwaukee!
Craving a northwoods dive in the middle of downtown Milwaukee? Check out Camp! Camp Bar is urban camping bar with a Northwoods feel. Voted Best Old Fashioned, Best Atmosphere and Best Bloody Mary. Also, it is one of Kelsey's favorite spots.
Take a walk or drive up Lincoln Memorial Drive to Collectivo! It is Kelsey & Nick's favorite coffee spot. It is a Milwaukee favorite!
City Lights is one of our favorite summer spots. Sip one of their beers on their patio located on the Milwaukee river.
The tap room at Milwaukee Brewing Co is a new favorite! Great atmosphere for a large group of people.
