What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Drinks: Relaxed coastal attire—nautical colors are encouraged (blue, red, white, neutrals, etc.). Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Cocktail attire. Since the ceremony takes place on the lawn, we recommend wedges, block heels, or dressy flats. After Party: No need to change! Wear what you wore to the wedding- the shuttle will take you directly from the reception to the after party.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary shuttles will run between the Wyndham Newport Hotel and all wedding events, including Blithewold (ceremony and reception), One Pelham East (after party), and back to the hotel. We'll share exact pickup times closer to the wedding date. Depending on where guests are staying, we may add additional pickup locations.

Is there parking at the venue?

If you prefer to drive, parking is available at Blithewold on the wedding day.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, or reach out to us directly via text or email.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn (with an indoor backup in case of rain), and the reception will take place in a tent on the grounds.

Are children welcome?

We've chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope this means a date night for the parents in attendance! We appreciate your understanding.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive around 15-20 minutes before to allow time for seating. Since we'll be taking photos around the property before, please head directly to the ceremony area when you arrive. We promise you'll get to enjoy the beautiful gardens during cocktail hour!
