Our story began with Laura travelling to London on a work trip. Our mutual friends Alessandro and Emily thought it would be a good idea for us to connect. Bobby invited Laura out to meet his friends on a Saturday night. However, Laura being the introvert that she is politely declined. All was not lost and we mutually decided that Laura should try her first British Sunday Roast (When in Rome). After a night filled with cocktails and Yorkshire Puddings, we both decided to stay in touch. Despite living on other sides of the Atlantic Ocean, it was clear to both of us that we could make long distance work. Over the course of the next year and a half, Laura made multiple trips to Europe, from skiing in Austria and France, to enjoying a cross country trip across Italy, and a relaxing vacation in heaven (Mallorca), we were having the time of our lives. Bobby made trips back to New York, Boston, and Killington Vermont for Laura’s Birthday/NYE. It was clear to both of us that spending time together was what we valued the most. When the time came to decide where our future living together was going to be, logic prevailed and Bobby decided to move back to the states in August 2024 to be with Laura. After a brief stint in NYC, Bobby and Laura moved to the beautiful state of New Jersey to continue their lives together. Shortly after the move, Bobby and Laura travelled to Italy where Bobby proposed on a gondola in the Venice Canal in the pouring rain. You know what they say, rain means good luck! While living in Hoboken we adopted our sweet princess Tilly the Cavapoo to complete our mini family. We are giddy with excitement to be able to start the next chapter of our lives together and celebrate with you all.
