In 2017, a probation officer stepped into a lift at the Specialized Commercial Crimes Court in Johannesburg. An attorney was already there, he was charmed and intrigued by her presence. A greeting was exchanged, contact details followed. Nothing extraordinary... or so it seemed. What neither of us knew was that a simple moment in a Court would eventually become the beginning of a beautiful love story. By 2020, the plot had thickened. Conversations became connection, connection became love, and love became the adventure that brought us here today.
