Smart, loyal, funny, considerate are just a few traits all of these great people seem to share, and that is certainly true with my Best Man Tyler. I met The Big Fella while at UCSB & he has been following me around ever since! We have logged a lot of miles together over the years and have eaten and drank our way through many taquerias along the way. Tyler & his awesome fiance Shannon were the first friends I trusted to help vet Sandy during our early dating days. Thank goodness she passed their tests! Whether it's weekend traveling, Santa Barbara beach days, disc golfing, or game nights, we always have fun together. Here's to many more good times ahead!

When I think of someone lighting up a room when they walk in, Megan is the first person that comes to my mind. She is one of the funniest, most generous, and bubbliest people I know. Literally, you will know when she walks into a room (especially a dance floor), and you cannot help but smile and join in with whatever she is doing. Megan and I have been friends since preschool at Good Shepherd Lutheran where I asked her to be my best friend on the first day of school on the playground. We have been on so many adventures together since then from backpacking through Europe, to hiking the Ojai punchbowls every summer, countless college visits, and birthday Disneyland trips. Megan's 4 year self didn't realize she was agreeing to a lifetime commitment and is stuck with me FOREVER!
Alannah Zurovski

You're darn right she is on my side, I've known her longer than anyone else up here! I'm super excited to be gaining a brother in Nick B, however nothing can ever take the place of my sister Alannah. We have built forts out of anything imaginable, had epic nerf gun and dirty sock battles, invented dozens of different games and challenges, and gotten each other into and out of trouble on many occasions. Somehow she ended up with talents and traits I can only dream of, she is creative, artistic, has attention to detail, and is extremely patient. Sandy and I are grateful to have her living so close to us and can't wait to see all of the cool stuff she comes up with. (Including some of our wedding decorations) We love you Alannah!

You can probably tell by the last name, but Nick is my brother and yes, he has the same first name as my future husband, it's not weird, right? Nick is one of the those people that always sees the glass as half full and you will find yourself cracking up when hanging out with him. He is truly comfortable in his own skin and I love that quality about him! Growing up, I couldn't have asked for a better sibling or more worthy opponent to play sports with as kids. As an older sister, it was great when I was taller than him and would "teach" him how to be tough, but then he hit a growth spurt and let's just say the student became the teacher. I am so excited to have him standing next to me on my big day!

Who is that model? It's just Dave. Who is that chef? It's just Dave. Who is that athlete? It's just Dave. You get the picture... I had the privilege of being by Dave's side on the weekend he married Matty (what an awesome weekend!), and I am incredibly happy to make him repay the favor. Dave and I have spent countless hours playing pointless games, listening to music, drinking odd beer, enjoying the outdoors & talking about all things deep & shallow. Dave is the mother hen of our Dude Group. He somehow keeps discreet tabs on everyone, making sure fun is being had, everyone is getting fed, memories are being made, and no one is left out. What a guy!

Allison is one of the smartest, most active women out there. She has 2 adorable little ones (Stella and Easton) that made me an auntie for the first time! She is like wonder woman, I don't know how she rocks her job as a nurse, raises 2 amazing kids (3 if you include her husband Evan, who we all know is a big kid at heart), and has a social calendar that would put most socialites to shame. Allison and I met our freshman year at Simi Valley High School (Go Pioneers!) playing volleyball and have been pepper partners ever since (PPFL!). We have been through so much together over the years and I cannot wait to continue the family trips in the future.
Mitch Lecrone

Here is a guy who invests in his friends like they were his family, and we are all lucky to have him in our circle. Affectionately nicknamed Moose in college due to his size, appetite, general demeanor, and occasional grunting noises; Mitch has a huge heart and is about as dependable as they come! Quality Time is one of his love languages and FOMO is his kryptonite. He is a guy who would drive 4 hours each way to spend a birthday afternoon with you. That has led to thousands of miles traveled, a lot of weekend adventures, a dozen or so speeding tickets, and a ton of fun! Mitch and his lovely wife Michelle are expecting a baby soon, and we couldn't be happier for them! (Please hold it in until after the wedding Michelle)
Brittany Watkins

Talk about a powerhouse! Brittany has it all, brains, beauty, and a quick wit. She is someone that is not afraid to start razzing you right out of the gate and then suck you into a deep, thoughtful conversation about life all within 5 minutes. Brittany and I met working as servers at Red's BBQ when we were in college, and quickly became joined at the hip. She is one of the most competitive people I know, and it has been so much fun competing with each other over the years and even more fun beating her. We have brought this competitiveness to many fun weekends with our significant others, spending way too many hours drinking cocktails and playing board games long into the night. She is pulling double duty this weekend. We couldn't be happier to have her marry us!
Andy Silverman

Got a sports question? Ask Andy! Between his sports knowledge and his quick witted sarcasm / dad jokes Andy is a heck of a lot of fun to hang out with! He cracks me up. We have enjoyed several spring training trips to Arizona, dozens of rounds of disc golf, hundreds of football/baseball watching hours, and countless game nights together. Andy and his wife Lindsay (and two munchkins) are fantastic friends and always great hosts, we love hanging out with them! Sandy has learned, that if I am getting a flurry of text messages in the middle of the night, don't be alarmed or suspicious. It is just Andy trying to propose some sort of fantasy baseball/football trade.
Alissa Rennacker

Alissa is that friend that is up for anything and I love this about her. If you have something weird or adventurous that you want to try, she is always up for the experience and you are guaranteed to have a great time with her by your side. I met the "Rebel" Rennacker when she started working at West Coast Financial and soon after we became roommates in a very tiny house. We turned into fast friends bonding over any outdoor activity, games, watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Love Island, and enjoying our favorite after dinner snacks of frozen gummy bears and popcorn. She also has a dog named Keva (aka, Nick's dream dog). Nick and I have the honor of being godparents to Keva and thank Alissa every time she goes out of town so we can pretend she is ours for a weekend.
Gabe Flores

When I first met Gabe at UCSB I couldn't tell if he was 19 or 40, but it didn't really matter. Something about him made me think he was an interesting dude, and worth getting to know. I'm sure glad I did! Gabe has a great way of looking at things and a dry sense of humor that I love. He once told me, "Just say yes to opportunities, even if it sucks, you'll get a good story out of it." Keeping that in mind has led me to have a lot of cool experiences, and only a few flops...I mean good stories. Gabe has a confidence about him that many people envy, I admire how he flows into any group or conversation with ease. We wish he and Liv lived closer to us, but this way it give us a reason to visit Austin TX soon.

Oh Miss Amanda Grant! If you need any help decorating for a party or want to throw a fancy top chef night with delicious food and the best charcuterie board in town, this is the girl to call. She is the epitome of hostess with the mostess and has so many connections in town, she will be able to get whatever you need for any type of event. Amanda and I met in high school, but became really good friends when we worked as servers at Red's BBQ. We bonded over going out to dinners after work, ordering way too much food, and having a few too many bottles of wine....oh and being major Harry Potter fans! We even took work off one day to go to Harry Potter land at Universal Studios to make sure we got to see it all within the first month of it opening.
