Maid of Honor
Nyssa and I have been friends for 13 years. We went to school together in Haiti and quickly became inseparable. Nyssa is the sister that God sent me, my ultimate best friend, my daughter's godmother, and basically my wedding planner. Nyssa is very selfless and caring by nature. This makes her a great nurse and an all-around amazing human. Nyssa is always there for me, especially when I need her the most, and I am honored to have her as my Maid of Honor.
Best Man
Brent and I have been friends since junior high. We grew up playing basketball together and continued to grow as friends throughout and after college. We both enjoy basketball, football, investing, hunting, video games and much more. I was Brent's best man at his wedding, and he is now my daughter's godfather. It means the world to me to have my brother Brent as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Meesha and I met 4 years ago, during our junior year, at the Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. Founded on a shared passion for law and fashion, our initial acquaintance quickly turned into an amazing friendship. Although we currently go to different law schools, Meesha and I have a dream of starting a law firm together in the future. Meesha is one of the smartest and most loyal people I know. She is always there to make me see the bright side of everything. I could not be happier to have her share this day with me.
Groomsman
Evan and I met during our junior year of college. As soon as we found out we worked for the same bank, we kicked it! Evan and I share a love for video games, football, and banking. Evan is that one friend I can randomly call and talk to for about an hour. He is a great friend, and I am honored to have him as my groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Muriel and I have been friends for 16 years. From the moment we met, we had so much in common that we instantly became best friends. Muriel and I share so much memory, including our trauma of the 2010 earthquake, that no matter how many friends I have, no matter how far away we are from each other, and no matter how long we go without talking to each other, when we eventually get together it's like there was no gap in between. Our friendship is rare, unique and irreplaceable. I am so happy and excited to share this special day with my forever best friend.
Groomsman
Atiba and I met three years ago when we started working together. We immediately hit it off as we both enjoy working out and playing basketball. Atiba was one of the people who came to visit Sandy and I at the hospital after the birth of our daughter, and I appreciate that a lot. Atiba and I play basketball every Saturday (or as much as we can). He is a good friend, and I am thrilled to have him as my groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Samira and I met about 11 years ago, during my last year of high school. Over the years, Samira went from being that one friend who would disappear for months and randomly show up, to one of my best friends. At one point, we were almost inseparable. Although our lives have changed, Samira is and will forever be my "twin".
Groomsman
Troy and I met 4 years ago when I moved to Florida. Not only did we work together, but the fact that we were both originally from Arkansas brought us closer. Troy and I hung out often (when I was single lol). We both love working out, playing video games, banking, investing, and more… Troy is a great friend and I know he will be a great groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Bianka and I have been friends for 10 years. We both moved out of Haiti due to the earthquake, and this experience was the basis of our initial friendship. However, we quickly realized that we also share a love for shopping, learning Spanish and so much more. Bianka and I are like close cousins who no matter where life take us, will always be there for each other.
Groomsman
Josh and I have known each for a while, but we became close friends after graduating college. We often played basketball and worked out together. Over the years, we have had so many memories, including me being a groomsman at Josh's wedding. I am happy to share this special day with Josh.
Bridesmaid
Jackie and I met about 6 years ago when we started working together as hostesses. Jackie and I’s initial connection was based on our faith in God. However, from working together, to spending many holidays together, to being pregnant together, over the years Jackie and I have built a strong friendship. Jackie is the sweetest most genuine person I know. She was one of the first person who knew I was pregnant because she’s that one friend I can always go to for advice about anything. Even though Jackie moved out of Florida, I know in my heart that our friendship will last a lifetime. I had the honor of being Jackie’s bridesmaid and I am honored to switch places with her.
Groomsman
Taylor and I go way back, in fact we went to preschool together. Taylor and I really started being great friends throughout high school. We took a bunch of trips to the river, the lake, and we went hunting. Overall, Taylor and I always have a good time when we get together.
Groomsman in our heart
Logan, my brother from another mother. Logan and I started being friends when I was in 10th grade. I got a ride from him every day after basketball practice because we lived on the same street. I think I spent more time at his house than at my own at one point in time. We shared a common interest in video games, basketball, traveling, and much more. Logan was and will forever be the closest thing I’ve ever had to a brother. No matter how long we went without talking, we always picked up right where we left off. With a heavy heart, I recently said goodbye to my Brother. Logan is no longer with us today, but he is and will forever be in our heart.
