What started as a chance meeting at Gavin's 4th of July bbq, quickly turned into something unforgettable. We hit it off instantly, and a few days later we had our first "official" date at another one of Jake's friends gathering. What I didn't know was that this "casual-get-together" included one of Jake's best friends-and his PARENTS! Talk about pressure!! It was a little awkward at first (meeting the parents on date one!), looking back, it was the perfect, hilarious start to our story. Since then, life has been full of laughter, adventure, hiking trails, family get togethers, traveling, and years of hard work creating our very special Witt's End Campsite. On my birthday, surrounded by the people we love, Jake proposed at that very spot. It was perfect-personal, heartfelt, and full of meaning. Now we're excited to continue our journey, and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
