Michaella (Mic) is Karisa's best friend and has been by her side ever since meeting at freshman orientation in 2016! The two became roomies sophomore year of college, and have lived together off and on until Karisa moved to Colorado last year. Skyler even got to join as one of Mic's roomies when the three moved in together in 2022!
Abiel Amador
Best Man
Abiel and I have known each other since the first day of our freshmen year. We've taken countless classes together, been roommates, and he motivated me to get in the gym. Even after moving to completely different parts of the country, Abiel and I talk often for hours on the phone. We've hit a lot of milestones together and I'm excited for him to be by my side for this one.
Cody Schock

Cody (aka Bub) is the Bride's older brother. Being only a year and a half apart in age, Cody and Karisa were pretty much always together growing up. Even though they have polar opposite interests, Cody has always supported his sister in everything she does and she could not imagine getting married without him standing by her side.

I've known Will the longest of all my friends, apparently before I could even remember when our parents introduced us at some point. Although we wend to different universities and live in different states, we've spent tons of vacations together and it's always a great time meeting up every year whether on a boat or on the ski slopes.
Lyddia Schaefer-Skaggs

Lyddia is one of Karisa's best friends, often referred to as her "theatre friend." The two met (as you might have guessed) doing theatre! When Lyddia joined STLCOP's 2020 production her enthusiasm, passion, and talent immediately drew Karisa in. The two had the opportunity to work together for many more shows, and grew to be great friends in and out of theatre. Lyddia and Karisa have come together over many late night dinners, make-shift lunches, margaritas, and lots and lots of coffee.
Joe Markus

THE JD Markus and I have known each other since our freshmen year of college. Joe has always been outgoing and got me involved in rocketry in college. We've spent countless hours together between study sessions, extracurriculars, and late nights as roommates. Some of the best times we have had together were spending a summer in Wichita as aerospace interns and late nights after our beer wine and spirits classes.

Barry and Skyler have been long time friends and he was the first of Skyler's friends to meet Karisa. He has always wanted to marry Skyler, but unfortunately for him, being our officiant is the closest he will get.
