Questions For Our Big Day

As our wedding is drawing closer you may have some questions for us. Here are some big questions that we have answered for you hoping to make it a little easier to plan for our big day.
Question

Covid -19 Update

Answer

Hello, If you are reading this you may have concerns on the covid 19. We are taking every precaution available to us in the midst of what's happening. We have moved our wedding to the back yard where there will be more room to social distance as well as decided we have cut our guest list in half. With that being said, kyle and I believe we are all adults. As much as we would love to see everyone, we believe our friends and family should make their own decision as to whether or not they would like to come. If you decide it is not safe we completely understand and what you to know you will be completely missed but are very much loved. If you still want to be there, we welcome you with open arms. Unfortunately, due to spacing issues, we did cut the list in half. We are greatly sorry if you got a downsizing card. We just hope you understand why we did that and forgive us for that decision. Thank you for reading this post, we love you very much. Kyle and Hanna

Question

Are kids invited

Answer

With everything changing during these weird times, we are welcoming kids. We did not have time to update the adult only reception status on the cards but do welcome any kids. :)

Question

Is there an open bar

Answer

There will be an open bar available from 5 to whenever. Please help us drink all the alcohol we have purchased! Our best friends have offered their coffee truck as an alcohol truck so please tell them how amazing they are!

Question

What's for dinner

Answer

We are hoping there will be a chicken or a beef option along with a potato, vegetable, and breadsticks. We are having the wagon wheel cater and are hoping to add mac n cheese as well as gallons of their amazing ranch dressing. We are still deciding on buffet style or family style serving but will update the closer we get.

Question

How long is the ceremony

Answer

We are having a full catholic ceremony which will be about an hour long. As much as we would love to see everyone there we understand not everyone will want to attend the ceremony but look forward to seeing you at the reception.

Question

How far is the reception from the ceremony

Answer

the reception is a half mile from the ceremony. When turning out of the church, take a right and go down the road a ways and it will be on the left.

Question

Are you servering appetizers

Answer

We are not serving appetizers. The bar will be open at 5 and dinner will be served between 5:30pm and 6:00pm.

Question

Why is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception

Answer

There is so much time due to the latest we could have our ceremony in the church was 1pm. We also wanted to give enough time to get pictures taken and drive to the reception venue as well. You are more then welcome to start the party early and had to the reception to hang out. There will be plenty of back yard games and things to do, as well as beverages.
