It began on January 11, 2022 — a day that started out like any other, but quietly marked the beginning of something magical. Sandro and Laura spontaneously met online, first drawn in by each other’s sense of humor, and soon realized they shared more than a few laughs — including a serious love for good food, thrifting, family gatherings, and cats. One detail kept popping up everywhere they went: the number 111 — the date they met. Over time, it became a special symbol of their connection. Their bond deepened around a shared goal to explore every U.S. National Park. And on September 11, 2023, with the Grand Canyon behind them, Sandro proposed. Just two months later, they moved in together, settling into a cozy home with their two cats, Oliver and Louie. Now, the next stop of their journey is Sequoia National Park — the setting for their wedding. They’re inviting close family and friends to join them in celebrating their marriage surrounded by the sequoias.
