Colorado has always been a special place for us. Aside from the sheer beauty it has been a place of many family reunions and fun over the years. We have enjoyed watching our families share time together and experience things that are typically out of the norm. From world class jeep trails, fishing for Salmon and Trout on the Ridgway Reservoir, snowmobiling in the high country or escaping cell phone service on our lot on the Alpine Plateau at 9,500’. It’s a place we consider home and would love to share that with you!
Ridgway is a small town with genuine hospitality, offers a healthy and laid-back lifestyle through unrivaled adventures or the serenity of the pristine alpine beauty. Ridgway holds on to the spirit of the Old West, in fact many iconic western movies have been filmed there including True Grit. Ridgway is also in the heart of what Colorado calls the ‘Western Slopes’. To the west about 40 minutes is Telluride and a world class ski resort. While there will not be any snow in August be sure to check out Bridal Veil Falls (https://www.telluride.com/activity/bridal-veil-falls/) and enjoy a beautiful cinematic ride up the Telluride Gondola (https://www.telluride.com/discover/the-gondola/). To the south about 20 minutes is Ouray - the Switzerland of the United States and home to the Ouray Ice Park (https://ourayicepark.com/) which is home base for adrenaline and off-road junkies from around the world. If you keep driving past Ouray for another 45 minutes you will summit a breathtaking 11,018’ Red Mountain Pass (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g33581-d8791399-Reviews-Red_Mountain_Pass-Ouray_Colorado.html) before dropping down to Silverton (https://www.colorado.com/cities-and-towns/silverton) . To the east is the Cimmaron mountains which are home to more off road fun, gold medal fly fishing and world class hunting.
Country theme y'all! Wear whatever you want or don't want! Ladies - I would save the 6-inch heels for the reception as there is gravel at Mr. and Mrs. Fulton's house where the ceremony will take place. If anyone would like to change their outfits/shoes, there will be an area in the reception where you can store the misc. items to change into.
Well, I guess you are dead to me! Just kidding, we understand y'all also have lives too and traveling to Ridgway, Colorado is a very big ask! Not to worry, we will be holding a reception in Sacramento, CA at a later date to still celebrate!
Howdy! We are so excited to celebrate with everyone! All of the itinerary listed are optional so please feel free to attend as you see fit! Words cannot express how much we appreciate everyone to go out of their way to celebrate this special day with us. THANK YOU!
Please send your song request(s) ahead of time! You can email or text Sandra! shsu321@gmail.com/9163962663.
Please check out the Map tab to reference where to park at Mr. and Mrs. Fulton's residence for the ceremony on August 1st, 2024. There are also areas of interest we have mapped out for y'all!
