Sorry, only children of immediate family are invited. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The ceremony is scheduled to be outside, even if it is cool (or hot) outside. If it is rainy, we will do it inside in the parlor, but it will be standing room only.
The average temperatures in St. Augustine in February are highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. It is possible to dip down in the 40's, and possibly not even get into the 70's.
"Smart Casual" No jeans, No shorts, No flip-flops. Guys; Polo's and button down shirts are perfect. No ties or jackets are necessary. Ladies; be mindful of temperatures if you plan to wear a dress. Please refrain from wearing the color "purple" as these are reserved for the bride and groom. This is an outdoor wedding, so dress appropriately for a cool afternoon and chilly evening. Virtual Guests: Please dress appropriately as if you were at our physical wedding, from waist up anyways. The virtual ceremony will be recorded. Also be mindful of your background and be sure to be in a well lit room so others can see you.
We have a strict guest list due to a small venue. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Parking is only for the guests staying at the inn of the venue. You would need to walk to the venue. You also could call for a golf cart pickup from Scooter Shuttle Company at 904-501-1313 to drop you off at the venue.
Our colors are dark purple (dark violet) and white.
UPDATED: We are now able to have dinner at a nearby restaurant. We will wander down to the restaurant at 4pm. After dinner, we will return to the B&B and kick off the dancing and drinking party. Scott and I will be out roaming around town getting our pictures done and whatnot, and everyone will be enjoying the cocktail hour with some food platters, etc. Then when we are done, we will come kick off the "Cocktail Reception"...
Please email me and let me know and we will be sure to include something you can eat.
The guests will be able to see the full ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, we will then cut the cake and possibly do a first dance, so you can all feel as connected as possible. Then we will address our virtual guests and say goodbye before cutting off zoom so we can go get our pictures done and kick off the party.
If you are using a mobile device, you will need to join us directly on zoom.
