"Mom, tell Pete it’s my turn he played a game already or Mom, Petes not letting me play. That’s how a Friday night or Saturday morning sounded from the room we shared. I could go on and on with stories that helped build the bond we have with each other. Those moments quickly turned into summer days watching The Wood (a story about Junior High School and High school in Englewood California that is. We must of watched that movie everyday that summer. I’ve know this guy who is my brother my entire life. After a few drinks while in Mexico I think we can undo the bow ties and get into some real detail. This right here in equivalent to that blurb on the back of a summer reading book that I never started, let’s save Chapters 1-10 until after the first dance. "

“Trying to figure out when we first linked I had to call Pete to refresh my memory...yes Pete not Peep or Kaheem...actually never knew how he got Pete from Kaheem til one day he clarified its Peep a name he was given from his mom for always staring at things hence the term “Peeping Tom”...so he says our first exchange was in 7th grade after removing a turtle neck he didn’t want to wear for picture day lol...that lead to us bonding in clubmen and hooping in rec leagues to our parents calling our freshman basketball coach to complain about more playing time...til this day I’m going to say it was his idea lol...we been tight ever since and I could go on for days but I don’t want to start rambling so I’ll save the rest for the toast!“

“Sandra and I were cool back in High School, we had study hall together and we’d always sit with mutual friends and just laugh and make jokes. After High School Sandra and I kept in contact and we would always make time to go grab dinner or something and talk about how lucky we were to have such great boyfriends, (insert smile here). Sandra and I became really good friends and we would always keep each other balanced and sane through challenging times! I couldn’t ask for a better friend! “I first met Kaheem about 10 years ago at our old job. He was sitting in the cafeteria and was extremely hard to miss since he was easily the tallest person at our job. He looked very familiar and also seemed confused and shy. I would immediately find out I was wrong. We spoke and realized we had a lot in common especially basketball & fashion. Also we discovered that we had mutual close friends (Jarrod & Jaycen). Honestly once that was established he instantly became my Little "Big" Brother. We clearly was thick as thieves at work.
