We’re getting married

“Hi, is this Sandra?” And from there, it begins…. Started with a friendly (hi!) text, to actually meeting for the first time… We really didn’t have much expectation for each other, believe us when we say that… at least Sandra didn’t have much.. haahaahaa look at her now. Now let us begin this love story. One evening, after a great conversation with Sandra through text, Jimmy built the courage to ask her to meet. Hesitant as she was, she actually said yes. Jimmy drove all the way to her house from his, which by the way was a good distance of 6 miles! He sent her a text message as he stopped in front of her driveway and sat in his car patiently. Looking at his phone, going through his thoughts, thinking of the best thing to say to her when she opened the door (yeah, he didn’t open her door) all the thoughts that came to his head suddenly disappeared. He laid eyes on the most beautiful thing he has ever seen… she opened the door, and smiled, sat in the car and Jimmy was lost for words. All he could say was “Hi.” So they drove away to get some tea. During the ride, he couldn’t keep his eyes off her. For the beauty that was seated in his car was too magical for him to look away. The night ended with a good bye, not knowing what each other was feeling, they went their separate ways.

Jimmy and Sandra got to know each other better as the days pass. They took a deeper dive into one another’s story by acknowledging their past. Remarkably enough, she didn’t run. So they planned another date and obviously, if you know anything about Sandra, it was a coffee date. Well it took approximately 4 additional months for Jimmy to ask Sandra and made it official. December 10, 2021, Jimmy forced Sandra, along with her best friend, the person who created this love story by introducing them to each other and her one and only, the matron of honor [Ashely Vu] into joining him in Hawaii. On this day, December 12, 2021, that was when he popped the question, “Will you make me the happiest man and be mine?” Something along those lines. She said “Yes” of course. She also didn’t have much of a choice, she would have been stranded in Hawaii with no way back as Jimmy purchased a one way ticket for insurance purposes (kidding… he did not)

After planning this for almost a year, Jimmy was able to pull the ultimate surprise on their anniversary. Their many conversations about getting married, having a family and being a wife, was all she always wanted. Little did she know, this day, was going to change her life forever. A drive to a surprised dinner at a location she wasn’t aware of, Jimmy made sure to blind fold her and placed headphones to block out noise. He walked her to the back of the location which just so happened to be her house and then stood her at a specific spot. Now let’s set up the view. Dozens of rose pedals, candles lit all around, hanging/dangling back lights, hundred of single stem roses laid down on the ground (okay maybe not hundreds) and just the two of them standing still. Now back to the moment: Jimmy reached over and removed the blind fold and attempted to give his speech. This speech he had written down of three different verses, however not a word came out of his mouth. He stumbled, giggled and couldn’t help but to smile. Shocked as he was, since he’s never been at loss for words, eventually he remembered to get down on one knee. Luckily he remembered to remove the tiny ring from his pant pocket and finally asked the most important question of his life, “Will you marry me?” And guess what she said?, “Yes!” That, ladies and gentlemen concludes the moment!… now let’s celebrate!!!
