This story begins - as it does for many millennials - on a dating app. James created his Bumble profile after being persuaded by a friend. Sarah created hers because the other dating apps fell short. Most people fall under Sarah's category - multiple profiles, one for each dating app with a series of lackluster dates. Not James though! He only had to spend 2 weeks on it before he found Sarah. Their first conversation was all about travel! Safe to say they were both impressed by each other's voyages around the world. James gave his phone number, Sarah texted and their first date was planned. They met for an evening date, in downtown Manhattan. James remembers when Sarah lightly touched him on his back, when she entered the restaurant. They talked about everything under the sun! The date continued with a walk to Pier 25, where they sat on a bench until one in the morning. They continued to talk and talk. Sarah remembers being nervous at the end of the night, wondering if he'd try to kiss her or not. They both walked (or biked in Sarah's case) away thinking to themselves - there was something truly special about this date. Special it was! They said I love you 3 months in. 7 months in, they took their first trip to Los Angeles. They moved in together 9 months into their relationship. They grew confident in their love at a pace neither one of them expected! They couldn't be more excited to have met this next milestone in their relationship - engaged to be married.
