FAQs

If you are not feeling well or have any type of symptoms related to COVID please do not feel obligated to join us. We completely understand and will not be offended if you do not attend. We are coming together to celebrate our union together as a family but we also want to keep everyone safe and healthy. If you have any other questions or need any additional information please do not hesitate to call, text, or email using the information on your invitation.
Question

Will I be able to take pictures?

Answer

We are asking that you please put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony so that you may be fully present. After the ceremony is over and we gather again for the reception you may feel free to take all the pictures you desire.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having smoked pulled chicken, smoked turkey, and brisket. Sides will be loaded potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and dinner rolls. There will be canned sodas, water, lemonade, and sweet tea provided for drinks. Also, there will be plenty of cake for dessert!

Question

Will there be a seating plan?

Answer

We will not have a seating plan for the ceremony or reception. Guest may sit anywhere they feel comfortable. We are becoming family today so mingling is encouraged!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We are choosing not to have alcohol at the reception.

Question

Will I need to wear/bring a mask?

Answer

During this time we are asking that you do please bring a mask so that it may be worn while getting your food and drinks and during the ceremony. Our wedding will be held outside but we are asking that you do stay mindful of safe COVID practice and maintain distancing whenever possible. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask then you are welcome to wear one.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire will be semi-formal and the wedding will be outside in the evening. It does tend to get cooler at night in October so bringing a light jacket or sweater to put on in the evening would be a good idea. Shoes should be appropriate for walking in grass. Wedges or heels with heel stoppers are especially useful ladies! Also, please do not forget to bring your mask.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

We will have parking marked off and clearly visable. We do ask that you car pool when you can so that we can have plenty of space for everyone.
