Our ceremony begins at 10:15am CST on August 8th at The Mansion at Woodward Park. For most of you, it'll be taking place at your home, via Zoom, in your respective time zones. Remember that 10am CST is 11am EST.
If you're attending via Zoom, bring whoever the heck you want.
As long as you're muted on the Zoom call, anyone can listen and watch.
If you're attending the small ceremony, please wear cocktail attire. Classy dresses or jumpsuits, suits, jackets and slacks. If you're attending via Zoom, the only thing we ask is that you never turn on your video if you're attending in your birthday suit.
If you're attending in person, no phones are allowed during the ceremony. We'll have a professional photographer, so feel free to ask her to take any photos for you. Phones are fine to use after the ceremony, but please allow the photographer room to work. We won't have a wedding hashtag, but feel free to tag us in any photos you post on Instagram or Facebook. We'd love to see them!
We’re not accepting any physical gifts, we are fortunate to have everything we need and strive to be minimalistic in what we bring into our home. Please support us by contributing to our registry of experiences that we'll be able to cherish for a lifetime. See the "Registry" tab.
Free parking is available at the venue, but if you plan on drinking, please arrange a safe way home.
Yes. We'll have light refreshments after the ceremony, then a lunch following the ceremony.
Unlike our planned wedding in May, our wedding will not be outside. We will be taking photos outside, so be prepared for the Oklahoma summer heat.
Instead of physical gifts, we that ask you order from our registry, which is a list of experiences we'll cherish knowing it was from you. Please give toward any of those! See the "Registry" tab.
Our original plan was to take 3 weeks and go to the Galapagos Islands, stopping in Quito and Guayaquil, Ecuador on our way in and out. We planned to go on nature walks, swim in the ocean, and spend our days trying to not endanger ourselves or the animals further. We still plan to take this trip, perhaps in 2022. So for now, we'll take a week off and head to the mountains outside Denver.
No! But feel free to tag us in any photos you post on Instagram or Facebook. @sandpoper and @matthewgriffsta This includes any photos you take of yourselves watching the Zoom call! We'd love to see photos of you attending our virtual wedding.
Sandi will take Matthew's family name, Griffin. Grope and Piffin didn't have the right feel, so we came to this compromise (and it was a compromise).
