Finally!

John and Rebecca met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, when they were just 15 and 14 years old. John was the one making everyone laugh, when Rebecca caught his eye. They spent the evening playing basketball together, until it was too dark to continue. They met again five months later when a friend tipped John off that Rebecca was at a local restraunt with friends. That evening he finally got her number. Juggling growing up, college, and work was hard, but the two always managed to fall back together seamlessly.

John and Rebecca were very young when they started dating. In the early days, dates were funded by Deemer’s paychecks and Misty’s Kone Shoppe money. This meant that dates usually included a ice cream cone and sitting at the river. For his proposal, John decided to throw it back to those good old days. After nervously driving all over town, John took Rebecca to the river. With perfect May weather and a beautiful sunset, John proposed in that familiar ice cream location.
