Right from the moment I saw Sarah exit her black Subaru I thought to myself "Wow! She's even prettier in person." After brief introductions in the parking lot we walked to "The Baked Bear" (A cookie and ice-cream sandwich place). I ordered a Cinnamon toast Crunch cookie with cookies and cream ice cream and Sarah got dark chocolate ice cream. We sat in some stools facing the window and began to talk about several topics ranging from our faith to medical history to childhood memories. It was so easy to talk to Sarah, but it was so hard not to get lost in those pretty blue eyes of hers. After we finished our ice cream we walked over to Winners Bar to enjoy some local music. Although the music was good I really only wanted to talk to Sarah more. Thankfully she had the same idea about 30 mins in so we decided to step out to continue talking. I could have talked with her all night, but unfortunately it was getting late. I suggested we grab coffee the next morning before she parted ways back to PA. She agreed and we made our plans for date number two. On my way home I was already super excited to see where things could go. I already liked so much about a girl I only knew so little about. Even in such a short time I feel like I know her so well. She knows me better than some of my best friends. One thing's for certain, the Lord has blessed me beyond what I deserve and beyond what I could have asked for. Sarah compliments me in ways no one else ever will. Now I get to spend a lifetime with the woman I have prayed for.
