Hotel
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be at The Hilton Head Island Westin Resort, and we have a room block available for those interested in staying on site. The Westin Resort is located 3 miles from the Hilton Head Island Airport and 36 miles from the Savannah International Airport. The Westin offers numerous pools, restaurants, beach access, as well as a spa.
Flight
The Hilton Head Island Airport is the only airport available on-island. While there are certainly commercial flights available in the winter months, they are less frequent and typically require connections (often through Charlotte or Nashville). The primary airlines flying into Hilton Head in the winter are American and United, but there are year-round options for private charters.
Flight
The Savannah International Airport provides the most direct options for air travel to the lowcountry in the winter months. Southwest, United, American, and Delta (as well as a few smaller airlines) all service this airport numerous times a day twelve months a year. Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft regularly carry travelers from Savannah to HHI for around $60-$100 per ride. There are also various rental car companies available at the Savannah airport as well as private shuttle or limousine services.
Hotel
The Marriott Barony Beach Club is a vacation ownership property within walking distance to the Westin Resort. The accommodations are two-bedroom condo style villas with full kitchens and private balconies. Reservations can be booked through Marriott Vacation Club as well as third party sites like Vrbo. There are technically two properties (4 Grasslawn Ave and 5 Grasslawn Ave) that belong to the 'Barony Beach Club', one with beach access and the other with garden access exclusively.
House Or Rental
There are a number of rentals available through Airbnb or Vrbo (We prefer Airbnb 😉) within close proximity of the Westin Resort. While there are options all across the 12 mile long island, Folly Field Rd is close to our wedding venue and offers a wide range of properties.
