It all started on Cinco de Mayo 5/5/23 We were introduced by our mutual friend, Marissa, whom we'd both known for years... somehow in some of the same circles, but never crossing paths. She had a feeling we'd be a perfect match, two people who had been through life a little, a little wiser, and ready for something real. That night we met, talked, and laughed... and then went our separate ways without exchanging numbers. But the next day, he wasn't letting that be the end of the story. He tracked my number down through our dear friend Marissa and reached out. When she followed up and asked him how it went, he jokingly said: "We're getting married in Cabo." At the time, it was just a joke. But soon after from that moment on, we were inseparable, and somehow, what started as a playful comment turned into our reality. Now here we are... actually getting married in Cabo! Safe to say he called it first :)
