We met on pure chance when we both decided to attend a social for midwestern students on campus. When I (Sierra) asked if anyone wanted to come with me to get Mexican food afterwards, Santo was the first to say yes. Even though he thought I was joking, he actually came with me anyways. If you ask him, that was our first date. We clicked instantly. Talking to each other came so naturally, it’s like we had known each other for years even though we had only met that day. We spent hours together that night talking about our life plans and how we got where we are. A few weeks later, I asked him to officially go out with me and suddenly we were together every day. We haven’t left each other’s side since.
