Question

What does it cost to stay onsite?

Answer

If you choose to stay onsite (and we hope you do!), the cost per person is $395. This includes two nights lodging, and all your food and beverages (including beer and wine) for the weekend. You will be assigned a cabin, space permitting, and may even be sharing with other friends or family members. Think glamping with running water and beds, not a Four Seasons hotel. Once we have information on who is interested in staying onsite, we will begin to assign cabins to guests.

Question

How do I get to Kennolyn?

Answer

For those staying on site, shuttles will be available to/from San Jose airport (SJC) on Friday and Sunday. Please check your email for details and shuttle signup. Those staying offsite will need to provide their own transportation.

Question

Which events can I attend?

Answer

If you are staying in a cabin onsite, you are invited to all of the events listed on the schedule page. Guests staying offsite are invited to attend the Friday welcome dinner, and the ceremony, dinner, and reception on Saturday. Kennolyn does not allow offsite guests to join the Saturday daytime activities or Sunday brunch. Offsite guests must provide their own transportation to/from Kennolyn and must leave Friday and Saturday night by 10 pm.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your children, this will be an adults-only weekend. Parents - you deserve a weekend away. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held outside. We encourage everyone to bring an extra layer for warmth once the sun sets!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Friday Dinner/Drinks: Elevated casual Camp Activity Day: Activewear - you are going to spend a lot of time outdoors. Don't forget those comfy and warm clothes for some nighttime s'mores action. Wedding Day: Cocktail attire Sunday Brunch: Casual

Question

What else should I pack?

Answer

We recommend bringing the following: - A sweater and (rain) jacket because the evenings can get quite cool. - Comfortable shoes for walking around the main area and for exploring Kennolyn's hiking trails. - A reusable water bottle to fill at Kennolyn's filtered water stations. - Shampoo/conditioner as this is not provided by Kennolyn. - A flashlight for walking around at night (note: one flashlight will be provided per cabin). - A positive attitude and your dancing shoes!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What are the check-in and check-out times at Kennolyn?

Answer

Guests may check into their cabins after 4 PM on Friday, October 14th. All guests must check out of their cabins by 11 AM on Sunday, October 16th.
