FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Zobl and Andy Bearse
Question

When are our Dinner selections made?

Answer

You’ll place your order from The Whitney’s custom menu with their staff during the Reception, as opposed to making your dinner selection at the same time as your RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, Valet parking will be offered at no cost to our guests. Entering from The Whitney’s Woodward side will bring you closest to the door. Both the ceremony and reception are on the 2nd floor.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The Whitney strictly enforces a business/country club casual dress code. Flip flops, sneakers, athletic wear, or tattered jeans aren’t allowed to be worn within the venue. Gentlemen are asked to wear suits or sport coats with dress pants and check their caps when dining in the mansion. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses.

Question

Is the venue Handicap Accessible?

Answer

The Whitney’s entire first floor is handicap accessible. There is a ramp leading to the back entrance and a handicap accessible restroom. There is an elevator available to assist our guests up to the second or third floors.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the venues limited capacity, we’re unfortunately not capable of hosting unaccounted-for guests to the standard we hope to provide. We sincerely appreciate your understanding ♥️

Question

Will there be dance music?

Answer

The floor of the historic landmark where our evening’s event is taking place is unable to accommodate a DJ or full band. We hope you’ll enjoy our harpist playing before dinner.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the event, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks following the ceremony.
