What time should I arrive?

Answer

The Nuptial Mass will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. Late guests will not be allowed in during the ceremony. We kindly ask guests to arrive 20–30 minutes early to allow time for seating.

Is the ceremony a full Mass?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony will be a Catholic Nuptial Mass and will last approximately one hour. Guests are warmly welcome to participate.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. We encourage classic eveningwear in rich, winter-inspired tones. As the ceremony will take place in a historic church, we kindly ask that attire be respectful of the setting.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place inside Mission San José. January afternoons in San Antonio can be mild, though we recommend bringing a light wrap or coat for comfort before and after the ceremony.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will take place at Coates Chapel at the Southwest School of Art in downtown San Antonio. Guests will be invited to join us there following the ceremony.

May I bring a guest?

Due to space considerations, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

We are hosting an adults-only celebration with the exception of immediate family. Thank you for your understanding.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony so that we may all be fully present. Our photographer will capture the day beautifully.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is approximately 20–25 minutes from downtown San Antonio and about 25–30 minutes from Mission San José, depending on traffic. Rideshare services and rental cars are readily available at the airport.

Answer

January in San Antonio is generally mild, though temperatures can vary. Afternoons are often comfortable, while mornings and evenings may feel cool. We recommend bringing a light coat or wrap for comfort, especially when traveling between venues.
