FAQs

Question

What should I know about the ceremony?

Answer

The Catholic Mass is around one hour long and potentially a few minutes longer due to the traditions of the Sacrament of Matrimony. In the Catholic Church, we believe something unique and special, which is that in receiving communion, this is the very presence of Christ Himself: body, blood, soul, and divinity. At this time, we ask that only practicing Catholics who are ready to receive may receive communion. A practicing Catholic includes those who have received the Sacrament of Holy Communion, regularly attend Sunday Mass, Holy Days of Obligation, and have regularly attended confession. Even if you are from a different denomination or religion, you can come in the regular communion line to receive a blessing. You can indicate that you would like a blessing by crossing your arms over your heart. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless otherwise noted, no children are allowed. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony. Please also remain quiet in prayer until we begin, as we are in the very presence of Jesus Christ. We will start prominently at 4:00 pm.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better; however, the official deadline is September 1st, 2026.

Question

What is the dress attire?

Answer

Cowboy fancy: semi-formal/garden party attire. We ask that men refrain from wearing any hats within the Church. Most importantly, wear whatever gets you on the dance floor!
