Nicknamed the "Emerald Cut" for its crystal clear water, King's landing is a beautiful river shaded by many trees that leads to a spring. Great place to kayak, canoe, or paddle board. We have seen otters, deer, turtles, birds and all sorts of wildlife while there. If you chose to do this while in town, be sure to book your kayak rental far in advance because they do sell out quickly and admission is limited. It is about 30 minutes from the wedding venue.
Huge farmers market every Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM right in the heart of downtown Orlando surrounding Lake Eola. Stop by the Flourishing Spot tent to see where we love to buy new houseplants! There is also a playground, swan boats, and many bars and restaurants in the area. There is a some type of festival happening almost every weekend there.
Great place to grab some cocktails while in town. It is a chic, plant-filled bar located in the Mills 50 area and is within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, and breweries. Check out Alfie's across the street as well! It is 10 minutes from the wedding venue.
During October the theater puts on a performance of Nosferatu. It is an immersive experience where you walk around the different sets in the warehouse as performers act out scenes in each room. The performances are different in each of the rooms at any given time. The scenes are all based on a vampire storyline just in time for Halloween. This is NOT SUITABLE for children. Alcohol is also served inside the theater. Unforgettable show. They sell out quickly so buy your tickets in advance.
