It wasn’t exactly love at first sight... it was more like love at first "Fire Chief." You know it’s a true South Bay love story when it starts at Old Tony’s on the Redondo Pier. It was late June 2022, and while neither of us were technically there for infamous "Fire Chief" cocktails, we both ended up together . Thanks to a well-timed nudge from a co-worker (thanks Nick!) and some miraculously functioning cell reception, a first date in the Riviera Village followed. We spent hours talking about food, wine, and family (and yes it included a trip to the Bull Pen) —and it truly made for an unforgettable night! Sharing Our Worlds From then on, it was all about sharing the things we love: food, wine, travel, and even YouTube (though, admittedly, that’s mostly Craig’s passion). Most special of all has been the chance to share where we each came from. In February 2024, Angela traveled to Manchester, England for the first time. She not only got to meet Craig’s lovely family, but also saw the city where he grew up. In July 2024, the roles reversed when Craig traveled to San José de Gracia, Mexico for the first time. He visited the town where Angela’s parents grew up and where she spent every summer vacation growing up —even getting the chance to hang with her extended family, including the nuns! The Beginning of Forever Perhaps the most important part of our story is how much we love to laugh. Not a day goes by—whether it’s a good day or a challenging one—where we don’t make each other laugh. That daily joy is what makes our relationship so special. During a Thanksgiving week trip to Maui in 2025, Craig got down on one knee on a bluff lit beautifully by the moonlight. In that moment, there was no question that this would be the beginning of our forever. And now, we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you, the most important people in our lives!
