FAQ

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

We want our wedding to be an intimate celebration with our close family and friends--not the place where we meet someone for the first time. For this reason, the names listed on your invitation are the individuals invited, no one has been given a plus one.

Question

Do I need to exchange money?

Answer

The short answer, yes. Purchases will be done in Canadian Dollars (CAD). You can either exchange cash from USD to CAD at any bank or use your credit card and allow the bank to automatically calculate the exchange rates on your purchases. A special note, not all places in Canada accept AMEX so please bring another credit card to use in case (VISA or Mastercard).

Question

Do I need a passport for travel?

Answer

YES! Traveling to Canada is an International destination for those coming from the United States. Both a valid passport and clearing Canadian Customs are required for entry, please plan your travel appropriately and make sure you have the right documentation! Please note a travel visa is NOT required for those coming from the USA.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

No, our wedding ceremony and reception are adult-only events, only the children of our immediate family (our nieces and nephews) are invited.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Black Tie Optional The wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

Question

Is there a shuttle or provided transportation to the wedding?

Answer

No. The venue is centrally located and within walking distances to the hotels provided.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes! Just because we are sober does not mean we expect everyone else to be! In addition, there will be plenty of mocktails for those looking to enjoy an alcohol-free evening.
