Where and when is the wedding?

Information for our ceremony and reception are provided below. Please note that our ceremony and reception are on 2 different days and locations! When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Please RSVP by March 1st, 2026 by clicking on the "RSVP" tab at the top of the page. PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 events that show up when you try to RSVP. First comes the ceremony RSVP page, then when you click "Next Event" does the RSVP page for the reception show up. Please RSVP accordingly!

How early should I arrive for both events?
Answer
For the ceremony: We will promptly begin the ceremony at 2:15PM. You are welcome to arrive at any point before then should you like to be a part of the mosque's prayers. For the reception: We recommend arriving no earlier than our start time of 5:00PM. NOTE: If you are part of the wedding party, please confer with Sana and Nathan for arrival times for both events.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is Black Tie Optional. If you would like to dress to the nines, you are more than welcome to do so, but a nice suit, longer evening dresses, and other similar formal attire are welcome as well. We will be in April weather in Virginia, so it will likely be on the cooler side in terms of weather, so keep that in mind! PLEASE NOTE: Our ceremony will be held in a mosque. For women, please make sure to have a light scarf on hand to loosely cover your head during the ceremony in respect of the religious proceedings.

Our wedding color scheme is black, emerald green, and gold!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony on April 18th is indoors in a mosque, while our reception on April 19th is primarily outdoors in a tent, so please dress accordingly!

Can I bring a Plus-One?
Answer
Formal invitations are addressed to specific people and/or families, so only those to whom the invitations are addressed are invited. Thank you for respecting our wishes!

Are children invited?
Answer
In regard to the ceremony: please note that our ceremony will be held in a mosque, in which the environment will likely be more quiet and calm. It is up to your discretion should you choose to bring your children. In regard to the reception: Yes! If your invitation is addressed to your family, then that includes any children within your respective family.

What if I have an allergy and/or dietary restriction?

No, we will be having a dry wedding. Thank you for respecting our wishes!

Are you accepting gifts?
Answer
We kindly ask to not receive any boxed gifts. However, should you wish to give us a gift, we kindly ask for cash contributions to start our new life together. We will accept contributions at our welcome table at the reception!

Is there parking at both ceremony and reception venues?

Yes! Both locations have designated areas for parking.
