We are so excited to celebrate our love and commitment with the people that have championed our relationship. It is because of your continued love and support that this marriage can happen and will continue to grow. As you all know we love to eat, drink, and dance and could not be more happy to kick off the rest of our lives together than with you!

So most of you know the story, but we think it’s a good one nonetheless. 10 years ago we met the day we both were hired for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Samuel was convinced Michael‘s name was Matthew and would continue to call him such for quite some time. As we geared up for tour we had to pick roommates. It appeared that everyone else was chosen, so we ended up rooming together. In the beginning, we did not spend much time together Samuel enjoying the nightlife and Michael venturing out with his camera during the day. After a performance, on an international tour, we shared a meal and realized we had much more in common then we ever thought. One thing led to the next and we secretly (maybe not so secretly) dated for about a year before we made it "official"...and the rest is history.
