Our story began during the fateful wedding of Troy and Haley in the summer of 2021. As they were just beginning their journey into married life, Sam and I were just beginning our walk into the dating one... Before their wedding, both of our parents shared a close friendship that began years before we would meet for the first time. Eventually, we met during the beginning of our high school careers, spending the weekends during the summer together nurturing the small buds of childhood crushes though unknown to one another at the time. When college entered our lives, the visitations had long drifted and most of our contact diminished. Haley and Troy's wedding was an avenue to revisit the old flame we had for each other and we were excited to once again meet. Hence, we found each other on the dance floor and after one dance to Journey's "Faithfully", the evening changed from us "stealing the limelight" (as some would say) to a quiet sparkle of budding fireworks. We officially started dating on July 3rd, 2021 and from there the relationship evolved - from one of long distance, endless texts, and distant hopes - to where it resides now with us living only a few miles apart and enjoying each other's company nearly every day. At almost 3 years later, on July 1st 2024, Sam proposed at Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills during our hike, the cool pool from the waterfall reflecting his kneeling image there perfectly. From there the rest as they say, is history... We will periodically post updates to this website that way everyone can be informed of any changes.
