Is the wedding REALLY on April Fools Day?

YES, it's no joke that we're getting married on April 1st!

When should I RSVP and book by?

How do I book the hotel?

Answer

Visit the 'Travel' tab or go directly to https://events.melia.com/en/events/paradisus-playa-del-carmen/Marina---Samuel-Wedding-MAR-2022.html to book your room, one night deposit will be needed.

Is there transportation to and from the airport/hotel?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing round-trip transportation to and from the airport/hotel. Visit the 'Travel' tab to submit your flight details.

What is included in the hotel price?

Answer

Paradisus Playa Del Carmen is an ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL. If you are staying at the hotel, food, drinks, entertainment and activities are all included in the nightly rate.

I would love to attend your wedding but will be booking other accommodations, can I still come and celebrate?

Answer

Absolutely. If you are not staying at the hotel, you can still come and celebrate. If you would like to enjoy the hotel and its' amenities, the rate is $150 per person per day. The hotel event rate is $35 per person for non staying guests.

Do I have to attend every event I am invited to?

Answer

As much as we would love to have everyone attend all of our events, we completely understand that it might not be ideal for everyone. Feel free to experience Mexico and the resort at your leisure.

Will the events be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

All the events will be outdoor, in various locations throughout the resort. None will be on the beach, so you won't need to plan footwear or attire around sand or water :)

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, a valid passport is required to enter Mexico. If your passport is expired and you need to get a new one, do so as soon as possible and we highly recommend the expedited service. A little tip from personal experience - make sure you physically sign the passport renewal form, an electronic signature is not accepted.

Covid-19

Answer

We ask that all of our guests are vaccinated. The hotel requires masks to be worn in common areas. As of this writing (11/1/2021) the US requires a negative covid-19 test for entrance. The hotel is currently providing testing free of charge. As we all know, the situation can change at any moment, we will try to keep everyone updated if that happens.
