This is an insightful, classic war museum for history lovers. Additionally, the outdoor WW1 Memorial there is free to visit with a skyline view of downtown Kansas City!
Sam and I took some of our engagement photos here and it quickly became one of our favorite spots in the area. It is the most beautiful park for a peaceful walk to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. It's just 10 minutes from our wedding venue and I promise the rose garden alone is worth the trip! Sam and I enjoyed a drive to admire the charming, historic homes surrounding Loose Park --the architecture is stunning.
Found in KC's River Market, this museum is a mid-1800s time capsule. Explore the artifacts salvaged from The Arabia, a steamboat that sank in the Missouri River in 1856.
This charming destination, right in downtown KC, is just a few miles from our venue. Here you'll find Spanish-inspired architecture and open-air shopping and dining.
Catch a major league baseball game while you're here! Sam and I have enjoyed multiple KC Royals games with my family the last few summers. Always a good time!
Looking for some family fun? (or, as I like to call it, a headache) Hit up Worlds of Fun and Oceans of fun! This amusement park and water park combo has something for everyone. There are rollercoasters, kiddy rides, pools, waterslides, and, our personal favorite, all-day-dining passes.
