Kandice was looking to expand her horizons as a therapist and gain more experience. She also wanted a more stable paying job because she lives in California. So, she applies to Trinity Youth Services. She has an interview on October 26, 2020 where she is interviewed by myself and the clinical coordinator. When I first begin the interview, I notice she is quite attractive despite the mask that blocked 99% of her face. But then, I began to ask her questions about therapy stuff. She knocks it out of the park. I had been interviewing several candidates and they were just awful to say the least. So, I end up hiring her. It just so happens, conveniently, that I am designated as her trainer - as if it is written in the stars by random chance (I may have chose to train her). I am training this woman, and my goodness, she is just so smart and witty. She is confident and knows her worth. I find myself completely enamored. I find excuses to 'train' her more and more each day just so I can be around her and spend time with her under the guise of training. I eventually get the courage to ask her on a date and she says flat out, "No. I don't date co-workers." Clearly I took that well and healthy and did not take it personally whatsoever. As a result, I try to back off and put distance between us so I can protect my feelings. However, I could not resist. Eventually, Kandice left the job and it sucked. I thought I lost my chance. But then, I get this picture of her in her new office with her feet on the table, and I'm like, what is this woman doing sending me pictures of her feet, clearly she is projecting. We begin to hang out as friends. During which, I may or may not have asked her to date throughout it. Eventually, she agreed to go on an actual date with me. Fifteen months later, I asked her to be my wife and she said, si.
