Our Story
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away (27 hours on a bus to be exact) lived a prince. The prince was very sad because for a long time he looked for a princess that he could form a beautiful family with, but no matter how hard he looked he could not find her. Then one day, Friday June 28th, 2019, at a ball (okay who are we kidding, at a town fair in Zacatecas) he saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen ( yes me! I had gone to Zacatecas to a wedding. Ironic right?) "My princess! She's my princess!", he exclaimed (alright that's not exactly what happened, maybe I'm being a tad over dramatic, but doesn't the story sound more exciting that way? anyways back to the story) But something horrible happened! The princess left the kingdom before the prince could even talk to her. Once again the prince was saddened (and who wouldn't be, I'm awesome!) but he would not give up that easy, he would look for her until they were reunited once again. He did it! After looking for so long, the prince found his princess on Saturday, August 10th, 2019 in a very unexpected place (yes I'm taking about Facebook) and that's how our love story began.
It was a long distance relationship and although it was tough, we know that God gave us this obstacle to strengthen our relationship and to help us grow as a couple.
December 11th, 2019 we made it official and we met in person on December 30th. Samuel had never traveled outside of Zacatecas yet he traveled 22 hours on a bus so we could meet.
We spent our first New Years together with my family in Hermosillo, Sonora.
Our relationship continued through messages on whatsapp, phone calls and video calls on Facebook. We had many ups and downs and at times the distance made us question our relationship.
We put our relationship in God's hands and decided to move forward. We agreed to get to know each other exactly the way we are. We saw each other on our good days and our bad days. We talked a lot!!!
We took our first trip to Rocky Point on March 7th, 2020. Samuel had never seen the beach before! It was such a beautiful experience and it was the trip that determined our future.
It was not too long after that we decided to unite our lives forever!
The distance has been especially hard while trying to plan our wedding, but we know our love is worth it! We hope you can join us on this special day to help us add to our love story.
