A family man who takes way too much after his father, with some of his mom’s inner nerd and sympathetic nature sprinkled in. Sam served 11 years in the Army national guard and counting. Just about 2 years as a medical assistant at Southern Urgent care with hopes to becoming a medical care provider once he finishes his bachelors and go to grad school. Sam believes in the best of others and opens his arms to everyone who is willing to accept his embrace. Sam loves hunting, fishing, gaming, camping, watching YouTube, cooking, and hanging out with friends.
Jessica Peifer
Bride
Jessica is a country girl with a beach girl soul. Loves going to music festivals and spending time with family and friends. Loves gaming, swimming, music, and can’t turn down a party. Jess has her “mom squad” in her corner that has always had her back since day one. Once you become friends with her, you are considered family. This bride has a smile that will light up a room. It takes a while to earn her trust, however if you manage to earn it, you will not let it be for granted. Jess has an amazing heart and is too charitable at times; however that is because anything for family and friends that needs to be done, she will make it happen. She is social, however a little on the shy side. But once she gets comfortable around you, you will definitely know it!

Best Man
Just a loving, joyful, and loyal person that the groom holds dear. Been best friends for a long time and met each other through Jess(the bride). They enjoy gaming and connecting through the multitude of things they have in common. Chris, along with his wife Katie, have never hesitated to open their home to Sam and Jess every time Sam had national guard drill in Lancaster. Chris knows how to grill, loves fishing, of course gaming, and watching funny/entertaining youtube vids with his friends and family. Chris and Katie have 3 lovely children named Nora, Aleigha, and Trevor. This man is down to earth and has a heart bigger than this planet.
William Cribb
Best Man
Loyal, great sense of humor, and someone who always has your back. This man has been there for the groom through thick and thin and knows how to party. William is family, and forever will be. William loves hunting, fishing, camping, backyard bbq, and having a “good ole time” out with friends and family. The pinnacle of what it’s like to be a true “country boy” and brought out Sam’s inner redneck as a result. This is what lead Sam to find his niche and feel more like he found himself. Will is the type to love before fighting, but will fight if you harm his family or friends.
Gripp Bates
Groomsman
Gripp is someone with the will and excitement that could leave a room speechless. This young man has true potential to become anything he wants. He never judges others and for everyone he meets, is with open arms. Sam met Gripp through his step, Johanna, whom Sam had worked with and became a part of the family. Gripp loves his politics and understands it better than anyone Sam knows. Gripp is highly intelligent and is bound for greatness!!
Scott Goodrich
Groomsman
Scott has always been like a older brother to Sam. Always included him in everything that he went to do. Skating rinks, nights out for lunch/dinner, movies, racing tournaments, working on cars, and many more events that came up. Scott is a true metal head, loves anything vehicle, hot rods, shooting pool, fireworks, and of course music, and so much for. This man bleeds red, white, and blue. An adrenaline filled social being, who makes friends everywhere he goes. This man knows how to have a good time
Mark Stone
Groomsman
Mark is a good friend of both Sam and Jess. He has an amazing heart and someone who can always be counted on. Where he is needed, he will always be there no matter the cost. His loyalty is unwavering and has southern hospitality down to a T. It is never a dull moment with him around.
Nic (Hollywood) McLean
Groomsman
A long time friend of Sam, whom shares so much in common that when they were co-workers, people mistaken Sam as Nic. Nic loves gaming, streaming, health/supplements, and the only person Sam met that matches his caffeine consumption. Great sense of humor and tends to look at things from the most positive manner possible. Nic is a father, approachable person, and considered family to Sam and Jess. Nic is an extremely hard worker, that even if (hypothetically) he’s not somewhere on time, he gets the most work done in less time than most.
Debbie Taylor
Mother of the Groom
It’s 1997 and Debbie was given a choice: to risk dying from ovarian cancer, or have surgery that could end up with her baby boy not making it to term. With the odds definitely not in her favor, she persevered and was able to make it through to give birth to Sam. With a now healthy mom, and her “golden child” now amongst the family, her and her husband Marvin Taylor raised Sam to be what he is today. Debbie is a kind hearted person, who doesn’t know what it means to say no. She had spoiled Sam rotten, but still managed, with the help of dad, to set him on the right path. Debbie is what it means to be a professional grandma, with even great grandkids that she cherishes so dearly. Debbie is just as nerdy as Sam and a big time gamer ever since gaming was a thing (Zelda is her all time favorite series). Even in her 60s, she got her first tattoo with Sam which matches his. She is a loving mother, whom Sam wouldn’t trade her nurturing embrace for anything.
Paul Griffith
Step Father
A US Army veteran and a caring man. Paul has done so much for Jess, her mom, her family, her friends, and her soon to be husband. Paul is someone who “tells you how things are” and doesn’t sugar coat things because he knows that’s how people learn and grow. He loves his “fur baby” named Dayton who’s a charming cat he adopted following the losses of Maizie and Benny. Originally from Ohio, he moved to South Carolina, which led to meeting Jess and her mom. Excellent cooking comes naturally to him. You ever need a gourmet cheese cake, Paul is your guy. This man has always went above and beyond for so many people, and just one conversation with him will tell you all you need to know, that he is a great man.
Rob Peifer
Father of the Bride
Originally from Philadelphia, Rob met Cathy, the mother of Jess. Jess is his pride and joy. Rob loves him some football and will go toe to toe with anyone who doesn’t agree that “Eagles are the best!!”. One big event that him, Sam , and Jess always remember fondly together was the time they went to Oktoberfest in Florence. Rob is a loving father and would go above and beyond to make sure his daughter and son in law is doing okay. An excellent cook as well! He sure also loves the bride and grooms pet dog “Molly” who he calls his “Grand pup”. He treats and spoils her just like she’s his grandchild. Rob has a great sense of humor and loves the outdoors. Rob is a traditional man who speaks what’s on his mind. Sadly he could not meet Sam’s dad, but Sam knows that they would have been the best of friends.
Sondra Shepley
Maid of Honor
Growing up alongside with Jess just as if they were siblings; Sondra is like the younger sister Jess never had. They have been through so much together, a true “ride or die” duo willing to get in and out trouble together as a team. They may have their arguments from time to time, but that is what sisters do. She has a heart that brings warmth to those around her. Sondra enjoys going to the beach, going to concerts, going to the gym, gaming, music, make up art, and is an overall social being. She will take any secret with her to the grave and is the type to help you out no matter what. She’s a great soul, and once you get to know her, you won’t regret it!

Started off as a classmate of Jess, but led to friendship that had stood the test of time. An unbeatable family bond that had surfaced, forged in steel. A mother of 3 beautiful children, Aleigha, Nora, and Trevor; Wife of Chris Bryson. She is one of the most open minded people you will meet, and loves trying something new. This woman can make a coffee that brings Starbucks to their knees, and an amazing cook. She is a professional mother with a heart of gold, a loving wife, and dives deeply into things to become a subject matter expert. Along with her husband, has opened up their home to Sam and Jess every time they come over. She’s a rockstar and always had Jess and Sam’s best interests at heart.

Being one of Jess and Sam’s best friends’ for years, Tracy is definitely part of their “mom squad”. She is a loving, humorous, loyal, and honest friend that will forever be family to them. Once broken out of her shell by both Sam and Jess, she has became the social butterfly that matches their energy. Loves her dog bear who is her fur child and number one companion. She is the definition of strong and independent since the age of 16, climbing her way up without assistance. She’s an alpha wolf and will make sure you know it!! Bluntly honest, and underneath is a heart of gold. When you have the three of them together, just know that room is now theirs for the taking. Ever watched Xena? Well thats her in the flesh, because the one word to describe her, is a Warrior!!

Kara is a good friend of both the bride and groom. She is always down for a good time. She is the party when she walks in the room. She always has a smile on her face that makes you feel welcome no matter where you are. If you want to get in or out of trouble, she’s your girl 😎💯. A ride or die for sure!!

I newer addition to Jess and Sam’s friend circle, however it did not take long for her to show how great of a friend she is. Chelsi has a great heart and deeply cares about her friends. Friendship is like a passion of hers. A social butterfly who loves to “go out” with friends and along with her boyfriend as much as she can. You will not be bored when she is around! She started off as a long time friend of Sondra, who continues to go out of her way to make sure she’s taken care of and has company as much as possible. From just within the first week of being friends with Jess and Sam, they had already seen the magnitude of loyalty this woman possesses.

Niece of the groom and close friends with the bride for years prior to even meeting Sam. Courtney has been there for her uncle and taken up for him since the start. Courtney is “wingwoman” of the decade for bringing this adoring couple into each other’s lives. She’s been there for the bride during her lowest and highest points, and is the cheerleader that Jess so needed in her life to keep her spirits up.
Aleigha Bryson
Flower Girl
Such an adorable angel, this young girl is the biggest sweetheart of all. A child of Chris and Katie Bryson, and the claimed niece of Sam and Jess. Lee Lee is a ball of excitement, wonder, joy, and love. She gets excited every time she gets to see her “Uncle Sam” and “Aunt Jess” every time they come over. She is smart, tech savvy, and adventurous. Truly a blessing.

Takes so much after her older sister, this young girl is just as sweet! She’s the middle child of 3 and is too smart for her age. Tech savvy and loves adventure. She will talk your head off until your heart melts. Such an angel and a claimed niece of Sam and Jess. She is a blessing!

Darren, also known as Jess’s “little buddy”, is someone Jess has always held dear. This young man is as athletic as they come, and has the talent to become a professional baseball player one day. This young man is intelligent and would do anything by for his family and friends. Darren has a great heart and is a “family man” in the making!

Guest speaker, Honorable Guest
A United States Marine and drill instructor; Sam met Top (Joe) in high-school during rotc, whom he was Sam’s instructor. This man has changed Sam’s life and prospective in so many ways, that saying he’s a mentor and friend is an understatement. He’s family. Top had lit a fire in Sam’s heart in a way, that made him passionate about everything he strives to do. The pinnacle of what it means to be a Marine and a mentor to many. This Marine will leave a room speechless because everything he says carries so much power and truth, that all you can do is stand in awe. Such an immense inspiration could be drawn from him, a person who leads by example. The NCO corps is proud to call him one of their own. Oorah Devil Dog!!!
