Things To Do

Denver

We recommend spending at least a day in Denver! For trendy breweries and restaurants you must visit Rino - reminds us a little of Brooklyn with the industrial feel and street art. Union Station is a Denver staple, located in lower denver (LoDo) and surrounded by endless restaurants and shops around, as well as Rocky Stadium and a scenic park by a river. Close by in the same area, string lights illuminate Larimer Square, a historic block with elegant Victorian buildings housing trendy boutiques and sleek restaurants and lounges. A 12-minute drive away you'll find the Botanical Gardens, must visit for any garden lover. Lower Highland (LoHi) is a hip neighborhood known for its cocktail lounges, craft beer spots, and stylish restaurants, some with rooftop views over the skyline. In Aurora, Stanley Market is a must visit! There's more to do here so if you're interested in more just let us know :)

Colorado Springs

Located at the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado Springs lies near glacier-carved Pikes Peak. Pike National Forest offers various hiking trails, just be careful of the altitude! For scenic views, you can take The Broadmoor Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway. It'll take you to the top of a mountain where you get vast scenary, paired with a small shop that offers souvenir and doughnuts! The city also offers Garden of the Gods park, featuring iconic red-sandstone formations and mountain views.

Manitou Springs

Located near Colorado Springs, this cute small mountain town is perfect for a day visit! The town offers a main road filled with shops, breweries, handmade ice cream, and much more. If you're interested, we would recommend grabbing a bite at Manitou Brrewing Company and ice cream at Pikes Peak Chocolate and Ice Cream. Just a short drive away, you can visit Manitou Cliff Dwellings, ascinating architecture of the ancient cliff dwellers.

Boulder

Located 30mins or less from Denver, Boulder sits at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. This city offers endless scenic hiking trials, tons of breweries, and a cute downtown. Downtown’s pedestrian Pearl Street Mall includes art galleries, cafes, restaurants and boutiques. If you like tea, we recommend stopping by The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse.

Morrison

Located in Morrison, CO you'll find Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre! A free, open-air amphitheatre with amazing acoustic sound and views (make sure to check if there's a concert happening the day you're planning to visit - if so then it'll be closed off for the concert). The park also offers trails around the theater (make sure to bring water!), as well as a cute trading post filled with souvenirs for purchase. The town of Morrison houses western architecture with cute local shops and restaurants. About a 10 minute drive away, you'll come across Janelle's favorite hiking trail - Mount Falcon Park (try the Parmalee trail).
