Hotel

The Westin Zagreb

1 Ulica Izidora Kršnjavog
Zagreb, 10000, Croatia
 +385 1 4892 000

Hotel Westin is the closest hotel to the venue (5 min.walking), however, there are also a lot of AirBnb options in the city center, as well as some youth hostel for the younger crowd (or those who feel like that). Stick to the city center and you won't have to rent a car, there is public transportation, taxis, uber. Book your accommodation ahead of time since August is a popular season in Croatia. Sorry :/

Flight

Zračna luka Franjo Tuđman Zagreb

You should be flying to Zagreb airport. {If you find cheaper options and are up for an adventure - other airports to consider are Split, Rijeka, Zadar (Croatia), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Vienna (Austria), Budapest (Hungry),} but Zagreb tends to be the cheapest, especially since then you don't have to worry how to get to the city. Taxis, Uber or buses from the airport to the city center are available (20 min. drive).

Rental Car

Budget, Avis, Enterprise, Advantage, Alamo, Europcar etc.

Several options are available at the airport, it depends on your preferences. Cars are driven on the same side as USA, Canada and mainland Europe. Request an automatic shift if you are not used to manual. Unless you are planning on taking trips outside of the city, it is not necessary to rent a car while in Zagreb.

Travel Note
