What's in a name...
Although we knew we wanted to have the same surname once we were married we weren't able to agree on which one we should take so have decided to choose a new surname for our new family. We spent some time rearranging the letters in our surnames and came up with some interesting alternatives.
We've settled on Mr & Mrs Berel as something that is simple and pronounced similarly in both English and Norwegian. Sam feels it is not too far from Boyle and Hannah likes the similarity to her mum's maiden name. The pronunciation is the same as in the stone - beryl - which is said to have the power to promote happiness and marital love, sounds good to us!
