Mead Tasting

Let the mead tasting begin! What is mead? Mead is honey wine. It’s honey and water fermented by yeast, but it can also be flavored with fruits, spices, grains and/or hops. Sam and I discovered Savannah Bee Co on one of our trips to Colorado and thought this would be such a fun experience! There will be several meads to sample, from still to sparkling, semi-sweet to sweet. Enjoy!

Estes Park Hike

Colorado has dramatic elevation changes which means you should dress in layers when adventuring out for a hike. We also suggest you wear sunscreen, hiking boots, rain jacket, hats, gloves & bring a day pack.
Estes Park sits in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Our hope is to adventure out to Estes Park bright & early. There's a parking lot that tends to get filled quickly, which is why we suggest heading to RMNP early if possible. From there, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to Bear Lake where we will begin our hike. The hike will feature Dream Lake, Emerald Lake and Nymph Lake. Of course, this trek is completely optional and if hiking isn't your thing, then check out our recommendations in our "Things To Do" tab.
