After a ten minute deliberation, Emme sent Sam a like. Sam quickly responded, to Emme's surprise, and the conversation flowed from there. Their first date was in downtown Farmington where they got coffee, played glo-golf, and ate Chick-fil-a. From that first date they both knew this was going somewhere. A week after their first date, Sam asked Emme to be his girlfriend, and she joyfully said yes! Their relationship quickly blossomed over the months and they began to dream about their future together. A future built on Christ, filled with love, laughter, and growing together. About 10 months in, Sam started planning to propose to Emme. (But Sam says the planning really started about 1 month into their relationship). He was sure from the beginning. On their one year anniversary, February 7th, 2026, Sam proposed to Emme by her favorite place: Lake Michigan. It was a sweet, intentional, and emotional proposal. And Emme said YES!! We're so happy that a leap of faith on Hinge led us to meet each other. We can't wait to begin our next adventure together <3
