In the fall of 2018, we met through college a cappella at UW–Madison! Sam was already a member of the group Under A-rest when Ella auditioned as a freshman and got in. For the first year, we were just friends, but we always seemed to gravitate toward each other in big group settings. Sam kept Ella laughing with his quick jokes, and he loved Ella’s fun-loving attitude that matched his silly energy! In the fall of 2019, we went on our first date to the Comedy Club on State, and the rest is history. In 2023, we launched our biggest adventure yet and moved to California together, where we now live with our dog, Bear. These days, you’ll usually find us at the beach, playing games, or catching live music at our favorite wine bar. We’re so excited to be back near Madison, Wisconsin—right where it all started—to celebrate our wedding with the people we love most!
