Forever

there is a saying... Your first love is when you are at a young age, you eventually grow apart or call it quits over silly little things. When you get older you may look back and think it wasn't love. But the truth is, it was. It was love for what you knew love to be. Your second love is the hard one, you get hurt in this one. This love teaches us lessons we didn't think would make us stronger but it did. This love includes great pain, lies, betrayal, abuse, trauma, and damage. But this is the one where you grow. We realise what we love about love and what we don't love about love. Now we know the difference between good and bad humans. Now we become closed, careful, cautious and considerate. Your third love comes blindly. No warning. It creeps on you silently. You don't go looking for this love...it comes to you. You can put up any wall you want, it will be broke down. youll find yourself caring about that person without trying to. They look nothing like your usual crush types, but you get lost in their eyes daily. You see the beauty in their imperfections. You hide nothing from them. You want marriage and a family with them. You thank the universe for bringing them to you. You truly love them. We are each others third love We first met through a mutual friend and just said a simple hello. About 3 weeks later we both had been invited to a friends birthday dinner out in Tacoma, WA, didn't think anything would come from harmlessly flirting with each other. A couple days later we exchanged phone numbers and socials, it just took off from there. I (Dani) wasn't looking for anything serious and out of the blue on valentines day in 2023 Sam asked me to be his girlfriend, not thinking first i said yes. We both had our doubts of how long we would last and tried to spend as much time as we could together, going on dates, hanging out at my mom and dads house or in his barracks room. We tried to soak it all in before it was over, and then one day we realized it wasn't going to end and that we were meant to be together. We didn't start talking about a life together until we knew we were ready, which wasn't until january of 2024, and then on february 2nd, 2024 sam popped the question and i said yes!!!! And now here we are getting married!!!!! p.s. our story won't stop here
