The nearest airport will be the McGhee-Tyson (TYS) airport in Knoxville.
On Saturday we will be in Sevierville. We recommend looking for lodging near the zip code 37862 to get as close to the cabin as possible. If you're looking for hotels, lodging can be found near zip code 37863. Otherwise, there are several resorts around the Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area that rent out cabins of different sizes and varying degrees of rustic vibes.
Sevierville is roughly 50 minutes away from downtown Knoxville. If you arrive on Friday and are planning to attend the Anti-Bachelorette/Bachelor party and made lodging arrangements in Sevierville, plan for an hour drive.
Our main event is Sunday, August 31st. Most people are leaving on Monday or Tuesday if they aren't staying to enjoy the East Tennessee area.
Tick are common in most of Tennessee and can be dangerous, but they won't be an issue unless you're wanting to explore the Smokies. While there are many preventative options for repelling ticks, the best line of defense is to stay away from tall grass and to have your legs well covered with closed-toe shoes. Be sure to check yourself anytime you've been near some sort of foliage!
Sadly no, the event cabin doesn't allow dogs. :(
