FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive to the ceremony by 12:45. The reception will begin with a cocktail hour starting at 4 pm.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all guests RSVP by April 15th so that we can have a count for the caterer.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Downtown Petoskey and Harbor Springs are both incredibly beautiful areas to walk around. There are numerous beaches and parks that can offer a scenic view and an easy way to pass the time.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the Catholic Mass, we ask that all phones be silenced and put away. We will have a professional photographer there to take all of the pictures of our special moment and would be more than happy to share them with you if requested.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that everyone wear formal attire and dress appropriately for a Catholic Mass. (i.e. typically suits for the men and modest dresses or another type of formal dress for the women)

Question

How far is the drive between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

It is about a 20-minute drive between Saint Francis Xavier and Holy Childhood.
