Our big day is on the way!! We are getting married!! We are both so excited and feeling blessed to have the opportunity to celebrate this weekend with family and friends that are closest to our hearts. Samuel and I met through mutual friends and have bonded over the years through our love of music, nature, quirky banter, and most of all - an ability to make each other laugh. Samuel proposed November of 2024 at our most favorite Colorado mountain town, Ouray. We were hiking and had just gone up a pretty steep pitch. Our dog Pearl was with us, and she is what we would call a "lazy" Golden. I thought Samuel was stopping to give his girls a break. Lord knows I needed it as much as Pearl did! Samuel started messing with his backpack, so I took the time to enjoy the view. When I turned around, he was on one knee with my grandmothers wedding band. I was thinking at the time - "of course we would get married". Of course this is how our story was to play out. It all felt right, it felt in flow for both of us - surrounded by a magical box canyon they call the "Switzerland of the Rockies" - we both decided to make this connection official. And here we are, welcome to our wedding website!! We've created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you in the lead up to our wedding.
