Our story Like many love stories you watch in light hearted rom-com movies, our relationship started as friends. We were friends who had the same values and who knew the same people. Our friendship was unique though, in that we met in the middle of a pandemic. Unfortunately the same pandemic that had brought us together, is the same one that took us apart for a time. Andrea (Addi to Sam) went back to Arizona while Sam stayed in California. During this time we each had a lot of growing to do, which by God’s grace we did. We saw each other off and on the following year, but it was not until Addi went on a trip to Cozumel that we started talking again. Addi posted a picture of a crocodile and Sam being a typical guy thought it was cool. From that point on, their hearts started walking in the same direction. In our next year of talking, our conversations grew from frequent face times calls to frequent visits from Addi to Sam in California. Little did Sam know, Addi was coming all the way to California just to visit him and little did Addi know, Sam had not caught on to this. On one date together, at Goff cove in Laguna beach California we professed our like of eachother. This like over time grew into love. And about a year later Sam asked Addi to marry him on that same beach with the help of a seal that distracted Addi long enough for Sam to get the attention of some kind photographers that God had lined up just in time. Now we are engaged and are looking forward to building a life together!
