FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 27th, 2026. If we do not hear from you we will assume you are politely declining. While we will miss celebrating with you, we are required to provide an exact headcount to our venue within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list agreement with our venue. If we have reserved a plus one for you, it will be specified when you RSVP through our website. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! If you have any questions, please reach out to Amanda or Samuel.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. While we love all of the children in our lives, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of immediate family, the wedding party, and a small number of approved guests traveling from out of state. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a fun night out celebrating with us! If you have any questions please reach out.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at our venue, Brookhaven Event Center. The cocktail hour will follow in the back covered patio of the venue and we return inside for the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive early to allow time for parking and seating. Due to limited seating for the indoor ceremony, select guests have received invitations with ceremony details. We are so grateful to be celebrating with so many loved ones and appreciate your understanding as we work within space limitations.

Question

What time should I arrive for the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

All guests are warmly invited to join us for cocktail hour and reception immediately following the private ceremony. Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm and reception at 6pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in formal attire. Black tie is optional. We refrain from wearing shorts, jeans, or casual footwear.

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift we could ask for. If you’d like to give something more, there will be a designated area for gift cards at the venue entrance. We’ve also included a honeymoon fund here on our Zola website, as well as a wedding registry on Amazon for anyone who wishes to contribute.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Guests are invited to enjoy an open bar featuring select liquors and our signature cocktails throughout the evening. Beer and wine will be hosted for the early portion of the reception and will transition to a cash bar the remainder of the night.
