For our 3 year anniversary, we decided to go back to Duluth, as it had been the first place we ever traveled to together. On our last day up there, we wanted to spend some time in Canal Park. We were walking out to the lighthouse and I had to stop and take pictures. Me taking forever as usual and as clueless as could be, Sam was supposedly waiting on me forever. I started walking away when I felt him tap my leg and I turn around to him on one knee. I begin to cry and his voice is shaking when he asked me to marry him. Crying like a baby, I couldn’t speak but he knew what my answer was. From day one until now, we were meant to be!

We both share a love for the paranormal. Lexie is the better cook, but Sam is better at grilling. We both share a love of traveling, hiking, camping and anything outdoors. Sam has a degree in Criminal justice and Lexie has her Liberal Arts degree and soon will have her LPN. Sam's favorite shows are Ghost Adventures, The Walking Dead, and The Office. Lexie's favorite shows include: Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Recreation, The Office, and Ghost Adventures. They both really love their Macy Rae.
